he is home

sorry it took me so long to update...really busy taking care of my hubby...
he is doing well...i have been trained to do his ivs and clean and change his dressings on his foot...a little nervous this morning ...hope I get his iv pump set right when i hook up the other iv...the one just runs in without the pump..the zosyn runs in on a 24 hrs period...so have to set it again...hope I get it right...
here is his pic in his hosp bed...would post a pic of his foot but it would gross most people out..I have his bed between family room and kitchen so he can see whats going on...this was the day he came home...wed.he can also see out in the back yard as there are lots of windows...hope to get him outside next week in his wheelchair to get some fresh air...I am picking up his ramps mon when we go to va to have the wound vac put in...it finally came yesterday.

Your husband is a good sport to let you take a photo of him in bed;) I was in nursing for awhile, so I know all about foot care with diabetics. I hope you both have a wonderful Easter and continued healing for your husband in my prayers.

Soo happy to see that your hubby is home! My prayers will continue coming your way. He is in the perfect spot to keep an eye on him to see that he is ok. The windows are a great thing so he doesn't miss what is going on outside. Wishing you the very best! Deb
