howdy,
its been a long time since i got to post..so busy taking care of don while he is recovering.He is doing well but will never have full use of his foot. They say the charcot syndrome is so bad that if he puts pressure on his foot and it breaks down again he will lose it.
The V A in salisbury nc has been so good to him, and Sally at the wound care clinic is the best. The good Lord and sally have really healed his foot..Sally said it was a miracle that it has healed so well...
we have come to love the nurses in wound care, sally,rose,sharon and forgot the other nurses name...but she knows who she is.lol..
He is still in a wheelchair or Hospital bed, but seems to be fine with it..looking forward to getting a power chair so he can get around better.I am tired all the time it seems but the good Lord gets me though each day.and it seems when one crisis hits another and another come along, lol but we make it wiht the grace of god. hope you all are doing well.I have done a new angel you can see her on my site and facebook.

Glad to hear Don is doing well. I have Charcot foot also so I know what he's going through. Mine isn't as bad as his but none the less it still hurts to walk. I have to keep my shoes on all the time and I hate it cuz I use to walk around barefoot in the house all the time. How's his blood sugars doing? Have they come under control now? Will continue to keep you and Don in my prayers.
