craft show..

I am going to try and do my first craft show in Oct...have been invited so thought I would give it a try...so already ordered some wood to get me started....have gotten junes ginger box and windchime done and her wreath is almost done...so will be caught up on her item..she is one of my regular customers..I am going to do your toppers too june, as soon as you tell me too.....lol...

I have never done a craft show so kinda scared so if anyone has any tips let me know...going to do several wreaths and some of my 2 ft christmas trees...and lots of ornies...also doing a new breadbox or two...one will be a light blue...totally different than the others I have done...and hope to offer one or two of the painted chairs...have a lot of things I want to do for it so going to paint all summer and see how it goes...she said they have 2700-3000 visitors that day...and the booth is only 25.00.
any surgery I was going to have to have is going to wait till winter...I've gone this long I guess I can go a little longer...

as I get these new items done for fall and christmas i will post them on my site for orders also..hope to do 2 jar holders next week, a scarecrow and witch...also going to try and get the summer chair done....
well got to go...I am tired...need a break...
hugs to all my crafting friends...
also going to have another giveaway....trying to think of what I want to do...so keep watching...

Hi! I hope your 1st experience w/ a Craft Show is a great one.

One tip I can offer... Be sure you have help, someone to sit w/ you and relieve you for breaks, etc. It's a really long day, believe me.

Blessings,
Penny

Craft shows are fun, prepare ahead with alot of variety in items and prices. If you have some reasonably priced smaller items people will look and then look harder at your bigger ones. Jim and I have be in several shows with his jewelry and my crafts.

Most of all have fun!

I agree that you should have inexpensive things(under $10) at shows now because of the economy.
It will draw people and they will see and buy your better things. We found this true at Christmas shows last year. Also do unique things that you can't buy at Walmart or Hobby Lobby, etc.
